Giving up on Perfection

Practically all of my life, I have been a perfectionist. Nothing is ever good enough; I am always striving to do better. Of course, there are both good and bad things about this characteristic. I decided to do a little research about what others think about being perfect as well.

This is the number one issue that I hear from moms in particular. You might think that you don’t have time to workout and eat property, but you CAN find the time. Frankly, you MUST find the time for yourself! If you are not healthy and fit, your family can’t count on you. Your work productivity will decrease, and you won’t feel good about yourself.

During my daily internet browsing, I stumbled upon a wonderful poem. I’m not sure of it’s origin, but I found it inspiring. I printed it out and posted it on my refrigerator. Any day that I feel like quitting, it is there to remind me that not quitting is the path that I really want to take. I hope it inspires some of you here as well.
