Perhaps you’ve heard about this latest crazy on The Biggest Loser. They often talk about chewing gum to help squelch hunger cravings. It works for me. In fact, I’m chewing a piece right now.
According to Gil Leveille, executive director of the Wrigley Science Institute, a “global advisory panel of experts” on matters pertaining to gum, chewing the stuff can help dieters in two ways. “Chewing gum can help relieve stress, and mindless munching is often stress related,” he says.
