A great idea is to prepackage your snacks so that they are ready to grab and go. Go for the whole food options whenever possible, but there are some additional ideas on this list as well. Breaking My Computer Addiction

I realized that in 2009, I spend WAY too much time on my computer. It took away time from my family, fitness and friends. So, for 2010, my goal is to minimize my computer time and computer/online related commitments. How about you? Are you addicted to being online? Try to track the amount of non-work-related time you spend online and you may be surprised at how much time you are looking at this darned screen.

Exercise: One Step at a Time

Well, the only way to walk a mile is to take one step at a time. The only way to improve your fitness is the same way. We need to throw away the excuses and get moving. My latest excuse has been lack of time. If I could not devote 45-60 minutes to my workout, I has myself convinced that a shorter session would not be worth it, even though I knew better.

I am currently going through the workout program called ChaLEAN Extreme. Trainer, Chalene Johnson often talks about using the power of positive thinking. Now there is research behind this idea that proves positive thoughts can really help with fitness success. According to Self Magazine, a new study in the Annals of Behavioral Medicine noted that people who believed in their ability to succeed increased their chances by 139 percent! Just knowing this is enough to keep me practicing positive outlook techniques.
