Tip of the Week: Track Your Calorie Burn

For a few days this week, I have not had a traditional workout, but I’ve been doing a heck of a lot of housework and laundry. I figured this was a good time to remind my readers that we all can burn quite a few calories with activities that we tend to do daily. Why not keep track as well? You will feel so much better about days when you thought you “skipped” a workout. In fact, you may find out that you burned more than you thought.

Many people find snack time the most challenging part of their day. Here is a great list of snack ideas for around 100 calories each. A great idea is to prepackage your snacks so that they are ready to grab and go. Go for the whole food options whenever possible, but there are some additional ideas on this list as well. Get the Best Butt EVER!

No, I’m not getting surgery. But I am trying a new program featuring Brazilian trainer, Leandro Carvalho. Apparently, he helps get supermodels butt’s in shape, so why not mine. Believe it or not, it’s called Brazil Butt Lift. Yes, it’s true, my booty needs to go. Well, I suppose it has already gone… south that is. I need to get my booty heading back in the right direction. The goal is lifted, tighter and smaller.

Fitness Tip of the Week – Backup Plans

Have back up plans for all of your workouts. For example, you may plan to workout for an hour after work by doing both cardio and strength training. Then your boss asks you to say late. Your workout time is now limited to 30 minutes. Know ahead of time exactly what workout you’ll do in that shortened time period so that you don’t waste precious workout time or worse decide to forego it all together.
