Core Align and a Visit with Pilates Guru, Lisa Johnson

Last month, I had the pleasure of meeting with Lisa Johnson of Modern Pilates here in the Boston area. When she opened her studio in 1999, it was only one of 5 in the state. She has since grown a very successful studio, Pilates school and blog. She invited me to try out a new piece of equipment in her studio called the Core Align.

Tasty Tuesday – Bean Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette

Did you know that the Mayo Clinic has hundreds of healthy recipes you can check out for free? Not only do they have great recipes, but each include a tip from a dietician about the key ingredients in each recipe, and thorough nutritional information as well. Here is one I found that sounded really yummy. I think I’ll be making it as a side for my dinner tonight.
