I am once again partnering with my friends at Pink Lemonade of Life Online Magazine for a group product review. Our friends at Dentyne were kind enough to send us some samples of their new Dentyne Gum Premium Badge Edition Bottles. The artwork as well as the bottle design are quite eye catching. The bottle design also fits quite nicely in your hand. My only complaint is the initial opening of the package can be a pain and you may risk pulling off the cool artwork. Once you break the outer seal, there is still an inner seal to break in which you must unscrew the cap. My hubby broke his bottle top when he tried to open the Artic Chill. Otherwise, once open, the package has a cool flip-top design to allow you to shake out 1-2 pieces of gum easily.

The gum itself is tasty and very long lasting. Want that clean, fresh breath they talk about in commercials? This Dentyne will give it to you in no time. The gum packs a punch of strong flavor and freshness that is quite strong at first, but then mellows to a nice, not-too-sweet flavor. They are great anytime you want to freshen your breath. Perhaps Dentyne describes the Spearmint flavor best, “The perfect, laid back, minty cool flavor. Not too intense, not too subtle, it’s just right.” I agree!

As I’ve written in the past, and The Biggest Loser often pushes for another gum sponsor, chewing gum can help you minimize cravings to eat more calories than you’d like. In fact, I was having a craving while writing this article and grabbed a piece to squash it.

So, all-in-all, I give a thumbs up to the new Dentyne Premium Gum. The packaging is cool, their new “Friend Accepted” campaign is cool, and even their web site is cool. Go check it out Dentyne.com.
