Practice Positive Thinking

13 February 2011 7 Comments

I am a big fan of Fitness Guru, Chalene Johnson. She often talks about using the power of positive thinking. Now there is research behind this idea that proves positive thoughts can really help with fitness success. According to Self Magazine, a new study in the Annals of Behavioral Medicine noted that people who believed in their ability to succeed increased their chances by 139 percent! Just knowing this is enough to keep me practicing positive outlook techniques.

At a loss for positive words to fill your thoughts? Check out Inspirational-Quotes.info, which includes a list of hundreds of positive quotes to inspire you. No excuses, give it a try today. Here are a few of my favorites:

We are all inventors, each sailing out on a voyage of discovery, guided each by a private chart, of which there is no duplicate. The world is all gates, all opportunities.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible.
Arthur C. Clarke

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.
Aristotle

Positive quote or affirmations always work best.
Plus when you work out the result is you feel better about yourself. So it then becomes positive cycle: Positive thoughts + positive outlook from working out lead to more and more positive days.

Definitely agreed on positive thinking. Quotes can help if they provide adequate reflection, I feel. I encourage most people to keep a journal. It isn’t enough to just think one thing once; you kinda have to know how it relates to your life, how the thought should work at a fuller level.
